After scoring their highest UK Album Chart position to date, topping the Independent Record Store Charts and performing a much talked about secret slot at Glastonbury last month, Beady Eye today announce new single 'Shine A Light' - out on August 19th on Columbia Records.
Driven forward by Bo Diddley-esqe drum beats, gritty bass and explosive rhythmic guitars, 'Shine a Light' takes the listener on an intoxicating journey through intricate and expansive soundscapes and cosmic textures, showcasing Liam's vocals at their rawest and blistering best.
The band recently announced their November UK/IE headline tour. They will kick off proceedings on Thursday 7th November at Dublin's Olympia before taking in Glasgow's Barrowlands, Leeds' O2 Academy, Newcastle's O2 Academy, two nights at Manchester's O2 Academy, Wolverhampton's Civic Hall, Portsmouth's Guildhall and finally London's Hammersmith Apollo on Thursday 21st November.
'BE', released in early June, won the band critical praise with the likes of Mojo calling it "genuinely exciting", The Daily Star stating that it's "an album to be proud of" and Uncut heralding the record as "a bold leap forward".
The band are set to perform at T in the Park, V Festival, Benicissim, Ibiza Rocks and Japan's Summersonic this summer. For more info go to http://www.beadyeyemusic.com
