Pearl Jam have announced their 10th studio album is titled 'Lightning Bolt'.
'Lightning Bolt' follows up 'Backspacer' four years ago from September, 2009. The new album will be released in October, 2013.
'Lightning Bolt' was produced by long-time Pearl Jam producer Brendan O'Brien. It will be released on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records through Universal Music.
The first single 'Mind Your Manners' is out today.
Earlier this week Pearl Jam announced a two-leg, 24 date North American tour beginning October 11 in Pittsburgh and finishing in the band's hometown Seattle on December 6.
2014 dates for Pearl Jam are yet-to-be announced leaving the possibility of a headliner for Big Day Out wide-open.
