Marcus Mumford working on new Coen Brothers Soundtrack

Marcus Mumford with Johnny Depp

Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons has been enlisted as the Associate Producer for the soundtrack to the new Coen Brothers movie 'Inside Llewyn Davis'.

The soundtrack's head producer is once again T. Bone Burnett, who has worked on four soundtracks including this and the Grammy winning 'O Brother Where Art Thou?' for the Coen Brothers.

Burnett and Mumford sourced 12 brand new recordings for the project, an existing recording from Dave Van Ronk and a never-before-released version of 'Farewell' by Bob Dylan for the soundtrack.



'Inside Llewyn Davis' follows a week in the life of a folk singer through Greenwich Village in 1961. Justin Timberlake stars in the movie.

The soundtrack will be released in September.
